FAQs
Do I need to be there for my appointment?
Once we are established and have had the chance to meet, no! We are more than happy to help ourselves when you are at work or busy with other things. We can securely and privately keep keys and door codes for your convenience.
Do you work with a vet clinic?
We work WITH many vet clinics in the valley, but we are completely independent in our services. We require DVM instruction for nursing care services, and are happy to work with your veterinarian to ensure the best care is provided to your pet.
Do you offer grooming?
At Northwest Animal Care, we understand that the well-being and health of your pet can be directly related to cleanliness and coat condition. Because of that, we started offering health focused grooming in 2024! Our staff are first and foremost veterinary professionals, so please understand that our haircuts are not always to "Breed standard" or completely beautiful. That being said, we will make sure your pet is cared for and comfortable the whole time!
Meet the Team
We are proud to offer a team of skilled people to provide the best care for your animals!

Groomer/Handler
Joshua Fischer
Josh works alongside Tiffany and offers small animal grooming and large animal handling. He also offers transportation, both critical care with Tiffany and routine transports as well. All the pups love him and the fun he brings in each appointment!

Bather
Seirra Swartz
Seirra is our bather! You might see her working with Josh or Tiffany on a full day. She brings patience and calmness to each of the dogs and cats she sees, and every single one loves her! She is probably the most thorough person on the team!

Office Admin
Tami Riley
Tami covers the office and keeps the team running! She is also a very capable animal handler with several years of experience in the veterinary field. She often gets pulled in for our livestock appointments, but otherwise spends her time returning phone calls and keeping us caught up.
Meet Tiffany Fischer, LVT

Hi! My name is Tiffany Fischer. I am a licensed veterinary technician in Kalispell, MT. I started working in the veterinary field in 2014, and I have never stopped! Even before I was working in a clinical setting, I grew up around animals and I have raised livestock and horses my whole life.
I graduated with my degree in veterinary technology in 2018, and passed the national boards to get my license at that point.

I have always loved educating clients, and in the clinical setting would spend as much time as I could going over medications, instructions, surgeries, nutrition, and pet care with all of the owners who came through.
I decided in 2022 to start up my own business so that I could continue to daily promote education and advocate for the wellness of our pets. So many pets have serious anxiety about going to the vet, which then spills over to the owners having the same feeling! My goal is to provide quality care and education in an environment that promotes learning and comfort for my patients, while offering convenience to my clients.

In the fall of 2023 I married the love of my life, Josh Fischer, (another animal lover!) and he has since started working with me and my clients more and more! We make the dream team, and a very comfortable and capable pair to take care of your needs.

I live on a beautiful property out west of Kalispell, and I fill up my free time with spending time with my family, leading music with my Church family, loving on my own animals, trail riding with the horses, and working on my local volunteer Fire Department.
